The Government of Gujarat publishes your application status itself, free, with no login. It is the fastest and most accurate answer, and it is the same screen we use. Open the link that matches your case:
These are Government of Gujarat pages, run by the Directorate of Government Printing & Stationery. They are free. We are a private service provider, we are not the Government, and we charge nothing for telling you where they are.
If your Gazette was filed through us, you do not need to ask — we track every one of our own files and tell you when it moves. If your application was filed somewhere else, we have no access to it and cannot look it up for you; the official links above are the only way to see it, and they will give you a faster answer than any message to us would. We are a small office and our time goes to the cases we are actually handling — we hope you understand.
Whether you filed with us or on your own, every Gazette name change moves through the same stages. Knowing which stage you're in tells you whether waiting is normal — or whether something needs attention.

You never have to take anyone's word — including ours — for where a Gazette application stands. The Directorate of Government Printing & Stationery's portal has a public status tracker for name-change applications, and using it is free — no login needed:
How the portal's stages line up with our five: Inward is stage 2 (your application number exists), Verification and Approve / Return are stage 3 (scrutiny), and Published is stage 4. Most people only ever find one of these. The Directorate of Government Printing & Stationery’s portal actually carries three separate public screens, and they answer three different questions. All three are free and none needs a login. We opened and checked every field on each one on 27 August 2026.

If you paid online and then heard nothing, this is the screen you want. It asks for a mobile number and nothing else, and it lists the transactions made against that number. A payment that never registered is one of the commonest reasons an application appears to vanish — and it is invisible on the name-search screen, because without a completed payment there is often nothing there to find. Check payment first, then check publication.
The date-of-birth screen is a different form from the name screen, and people regularly search the wrong one. These are its actual fields:

A great many people search for the Rajkot gazette status specifically, because the Government Photo Litho Press at Rajkot prints the Gujarat Government Gazette. There is no separate Rajkot status website: whichever district you applied from, the status lives on the same three screens above. Choose your own district in the District/Taluka/Village dropdown — not Rajkot — unless the application itself was filed from Rajkot.

Normal plan: your published Gujarat Gazette within 60 working days. Express: within 30 working days — counted from the working day after full payment is received and your application number is generated, and we confirm your exact end date in writing. Working days are days the Gazette Department, Rajkot is open; Sundays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays and Government of Gujarat public holidays are not counted. If we miss your window you get a 100% refund of your invoice within 24 hours — no deduction for the Government fee, e-stamp, notary or drafting — and we still deliver your Gazette at no further service charge.
