Draft
The prepared wording of your affidavit and Gazette that you review before filing. Nothing is filed until you approve it — your key safeguard against a published error.See: Draft review checklist

Objection / Hold

Endorsement

Mutation

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean if my case is 'on hold' or 'objected'?
An authority has paused it because a name doesn't match or a document is incomplete. Reconciling the names, then presenting recognised proof, usually clears it.
Why is the draft stage so important?
Because a Gazette is published — a mistake caught at the draft stage is far cheaper to fix than one caught after publication. Check every detail before approving.
Does a Gazette handle mutation or re-issue for me?
No. It's recognised proof; the property office or passport authority updates its record through its own process, using the Gazette.
