People assume a Gazette needs a local agent because something must be handed over in person. It does not. The application is filed online with the Government of Gujarat, and every step before and after it can be done from wherever you are — a village in Kutch, a flat in Ahmedabad, or an apartment in Dubai.
Prefer to do it face to face anyway? You are always welcome to walk into the Vadodara office instead. Some people simply want to hand the papers to a human, and that is a perfectly good reason.
There is no part of Gujarat we cannot file from. The Government portal’s own address field is a District → Taluka → Village chain that covers the whole state, so wherever your address proof says you live, there is an entry for it. The Gazette itself is printed centrally by the Directorate of Government Printing & Stationery at Rajkot — which is exactly why being in Vadodara, or Bhuj, or Vapi, makes no difference to how fast your case moves.
The portal lists 41 district entries, and eight of them appear twice — Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar and Gandhinagar each have a separate “(Municipal Corporation)” row for people living inside the city limits. Normal plan: your published Gujarat Gazette within 60 working days. Express: within 30 working days β counted from the working day after full payment is received and your application number is generated, and we confirm your exact end date in writing. Working days are days the Gazette Department, Rajkot is open; Sundays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays and Government of Gujarat public holidays are not counted. If we miss your window you get a 100% refund of your invoice within 24 hours β no deduction for the Government fee, e-stamp, notary or drafting β and we still deliver your Gazette at no further service charge.
