Those questions are usually answered across three or four different pages. This tool answers all of them in one pass, using the details of your own case rather than a general example.
Who the change is for decides whether a guardian route applies. What is changing decides which of our services fits and which supporting documents matter. Where you are decides whether we handle it in person at Vadodara or entirely by courier and WhatsApp. What you will use the Gazette for decides the order you should update your other records in afterwards — the step most people get wrong. It will not tell you that a document is legally sufficient, because that is a judgement we make only after seeing the actual papers. It will not quote a special case beyond the two fixed plans. And it will not tell you a Gazette is needed when it is not — if your case looks like a departmental correction or a court matter, the result says so and points you to the lighter route.
Normal plan: your Gujarat Gazette within 60 days. Express (extraordinary Gazette): within 30 days — counted from the date full payment is received and your application number is generated. Nobody can fix the Government Press’s exact publication date, so instead of a promise we cannot keep, we give you a real remedy: if we miss the window you get a full refund of everything you paid us — and we still complete your Gazette at no further service charge. In practice most of our filed gazettes publish within about 15 days of filing; the 60/30-day windows are your written safety net. The guarantee is issued in writing with your quote.
