DigiLocker is a Government of India digital document platform that lets you access documents issued by various authorities in one place. Importantly, it mirrors the records held by each issuing authority β it shows the name each source document actually carries, rather than creating a new name of its own.
Because DigiLocker reflects the source records, any name difference you see there is really a difference in the underlying documents β for example your Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence or mark sheet spelling your name differently. DigiLocker simply surfaces the inconsistency.
The fix is at the source, not in DigiLocker. Establish one consistent name across your underlying documents β via a Gujarat Gazette where a genuine change is involved β and update each issuing authority. As those records update, what DigiLocker displays follows.
